The East West College Film Directing and Acting Program provides knowledge to prepare students for a career in the film industry. Curriculum and instruction is designed to ensure graduates are able
to succeed in the film industry or other related fields. Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to: 1. Define the most influential schools of film-making and script writing in the 20th century (i.e.; the French New Wave of the 60s); 2. Define the basic elements of writing a successful screenplay and making a successful film; 3. Understand the role of camera, sound, acting and editing in the making of a successful film.
